As for the other complaints I agree; they chip easily. Although when I complained in the store I wasn't offered a replacement, rather I was just told that all porcelain does that. And the plates are too big to fit in my dishwasher, although others may appreciate their size. I have also, like others, noticed cracks in the glaze, mostly in the mugs (see photo).
Overall I'd say if you're not bothered by these things then yes, buy them because they still are very pretty, but otherwise they are a bit too expensive for the quality. Further, their marketing team must have left their quality assurance team off the meeting invite when the advertising for this set was discussed, i.e. ""microwave safe"" and ""chip-resistant"". Clearly that is not exactly accurate
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Does the bottom of the plate indicate microwave safe? If not, does anyone know if these dishes become 'blazing hot' after reheating food in the microwave
I've noticed many new dinnerware sets now advertise themselves as dishwasher, microwave and 'oven safe'. I haven't used my dinnerware in the oven before, but now I wonder if I have been missing out all these years

I really want to know about the quality of these dishes. A few reviewers have mentioned that silverware scratches them. They will be for everyday use, and although I've looked at them for a long time and would love to purchase them, I'm a little worried
