Neat design
This is a very clever burger press. It is designed to make all burgers the same size even with more or less meat in them. You align the press with the form for 1/4 lb, 1/3 lb, or 1/2 lb burgers. The burgers will all come out bun size, but different thicknesses.

However, it does not come with a bottom. So you must use a cutting board or other hard, flat surface to press the meat. My cast iron frying pan works well off the heat for pressing the burgers. Then put the pan on the stove to cook them.

I use this for bulk sausage as well as burgers. I put the ring on my frying pan, scoop in a heaping tablespoon of sausage and set the press on 1/4 lb. This makes a nice, thin patty, not as big or well shaped as a burger, but easy to cook and fits on an English muffin with an egg

"Beware, does not come with an instruction manual!"
But, for 99% of the population that will not be a problem. Works great. Always the perfect sized patties. Just need to use a little elbow grease

DO NOT BUY
This hamburger press is stunningly, utterly awful. Yes, it looks pretty, seems solid and sturdy, and offers neat features, but it simply doesn't work
