Best Ever
This huller is the absolute best ever invented. Push open the plunger to the size of the stem, insert into the strawberry, release to close, and a slight twist -- the stem pulls right out. Dishwasher clean. Quart of berries in a flash! So happy with this product I'll probably try their slicer

BETTER FOR CUPCAKES!!!!
I would NOT recommend this for hulling strawberries. I found that it was time consumming to use this gadget because the stem had to be pulled into an upright position in order for the ""claws"" to grab ALL of the stem and fully hull the strawberry.

The reason I gave this gadget 4 stars was because I found this was very useful for removing the center portion of cupcakes for filling!!! The ""claws"" of this gadget created a cone shaped core that was easy to replace after filling the cupcake ""cavity"". I liked this better for ""coring"" cupcakes than the actual gadget made for this purpose!

True to the name!
Works great especially when you need to remove a ton of strawberry stems for a pie! Especially easy to use and clean. I thought it would be a bit too much, but it really does save time when you have a ton of strawberries

Once you master using it you'll love it.
I gave away my three other strawberry hullers the first time I used this. It took a couple of minutes to master the twisting action as you pull it back up out of the strawberry, but once you get that down you should find this tool indispensable. I understand it also works on tomatoes. As soon as I get a good tomato, I'll try it.
I am going to buy another so I am never without. I'd give it 10 stars if I could

Best gadget in my kitchen!
I have been on a quest for a good huller for years, and it's finally over! After trying many kinds this is, hands down, the best. NOTE: Choosing the right placement of the blades, and a little twist is key to getting the best of the the strawberry. You must TWIST the stem. I don't have any problems with any size strawberry. With a family of five who consume a gazillion pounds of strawberries per year, this makes life so much easier. It cuts a lot of time off of any strawberry recipe and, best of all, packing lunches!! They're great little gifts/stocking stuffers too! Don't hesitate to buy one - you'll come back and thank me. ;

StemGem Strawberry Huller THE BEST EVER!!!
First off it is the cutest ever huller I have ever seen!!! Which is only surpast by how absolutely easy and fun it is to use, saving my index and thumb from pain of hulling again, and keeping my paring knife at bay from stealing too much berry!!! This is a must have gadget in my kitchen drawer, Sorry Alton, but if Brown ever were to use this, I dare say He too would have to have one of his very own!!

You won't be disappointed
It is as easy as it claims and an amazing tool to own. Works great on small to medium sized strawberries but not as well on giant sized strawberries.

strawberry season is upon us
Some little gadgets are not necessary. This is NOT one of those gadgets.... LOVE IT. Makes short work of a pound of strawberries.

The best product I have bought to hull strawberries. Usually the gadgets end up in the drawer to never be used again. This is a remarkable tool to hull strawberries, does the job clean and precise. I bought more for my kids.

We like strawberries but don't enjoy the mess.
RD B on Jun 23, 2016
because I really like strawberries and it was on sale and it looked like it would save me time . I have received it and after a little practice it works well and is very helpful. I was a little reluctant because of a previous buyer commented that you had to stand all the small green leaves up to use it correctly. I found that not to be true, they come away with the top core regardless.
William T on Jun 22, 2016
This works really well. I'm buying a second one to have as an extra.
may gin n on Jun 22, 2016
this works so efficiently! Wanted to get one for my daughter, too!
LINDA M on Jun 22, 2016
I usually use my fingernails to hull strawberries. My wonderful nail salon lady chides me for using my fingernails for gardening and doing things in the kitchen that I should do with implements instead of my nails. So I'm buying the huller to save my nails and make her happy.
Donna H R on Jun 21, 2016
