These bags have been much more convenient then the plastic ones at the grocery store. They have drawstrings which prevent the produce from sneaking out of the bag, are washable, and offer plenty of room for all types of fruits and vegetables.
I was initially worried that they'd be heavier and thereby add to the overall weight of the produce that I purchase. That fear was all for naught. They are light weight but durable.
I get many compliments on the bags and their utility. The check out person seems to appreciate that the produce tags are easier to read then their plastic counterparts. I'd recommend purchasing a few sets because one set of six just isn't enough for a typical run to the grocery store
Excellent,. But could use a stopper on the drawstring to keep the bag closed when holding produce. Currently, Whole Foods, in Glendale, is giving $.10 credit for every one of these bags used in lieu of a plastic bag. I usually use about 6 or 7 plastic bags, so I'm getting more
these bags are the best for buying produce - they're so light that you don't have to worry about paying for the tare weight of the bag in addition to the food, and most grocery checkout people can't figure out how to adjust for the tare weight. super easy to clean and store.
How can I know whether these or other items are in my local Sur store?
