Good deal for this basic
I broke my white Pyrex after 2 decades and this is the largest similar item I could find. Haven't used it yet but for the price I couldn't go wrong.

Just because I've never used a souffle pan (want to try it for Yorkshire pudding).

No rim and is flared out, this should allow the soufflé to rise very nicely.

Where is your 2 qt. souffle dish made?
A shopper on Apr 18, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Please your family and guests by serving individual chocolate or marmalade souffles as dinner's finale. These ribbed, porcelain dishes are equally useful for cooking savory meals. This item is made in China
Is it safe to use this in the broiler?
A shopper on Jun 3, 2015
BEST ANSWER: A soufflé dish is too deep to use under the broiler; it will burn the top and not cook the bottom. If you want to melt or brown cheese for a minute or two on an already hot dish, you can get away with doing that the same as other casserole dishes.
Where is the Sur La Table® Porcelain Soufflé Dish, 2 qt. made? What country?
Susanne T on Jan 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Mine says "made in China". I purchases two to use as dog dishes, so haven't actually cooked with them. They look nice.
