This is truly the best Madeline pan I've owned. I've never quite gotten the art of French pastry work, as you will see in the picture my cookies came out rather ""puffy"". This pan is excellent.
As far as Madeline's go they are staple of basic French baking. They are very light, delicious cookies that have a soft Vanilla or Lemon taste. They are excellent for small get together's for tea and socializing. They go great with a pot of chocolate (Home made is the best to show off your skills) served in a small ramekin, lightly sprinkled with powdered sugar to give it a simply irresistible look.
If you enjoy inviting friends and neighbors over for a brunch and tea, or you simply enjoy French food, then you need a good quality Madeline pan. Certainly worth the money
I am a true baker and used the larger Madeliene pan to make the most delicious cookies! So I figured they could be even more delightful in a smallelr pan. So this one should fill the bill. As long as you use real butter to grease the cups, the cookies pop right out! Bon appetito!
