Pucker up! This stuff is deliciously tart.
In my extensive experience eating delicious tart things, I've learned something important:

People claim things are tart when they really just mean ""there's some citrus in there somewhere.""

But not this curd. Stonewall Kitchens isn't kidding around. It's utterly delicious, and (even more so than their lemon curd) satisfyingly, mouth-puckeringly, addictively tart.

In a good way. No, wait in a GREAT way. Spread this on toast, bagels, English muffins and it's a perfect way to start the day.

Highly recommended for fans of tartness

This Ley Lime Curd is absolutely, hands down the best. Not too sour or too sweet. Not too much zest so no bitterness. We love it.

what else do I need to make a key lime pie----I have a crust ready, and whipping cream but what else------?!
A shopper on Mar 14, 2015
Best Answer: I'm at a loss. I have never made a pie with lime curd and have only used it for toast. I think it would use 3-4 jars of curd for a pie.I have made key lime pie from fresh key limes, sugar, egg yolks and corn starch. I bake the crust, when it cools I add the filling. I make a meringue with the egg whites, place on pie and brown it. I'm sure you can find an easy recipe on line. Happy baking. BTW this is the absolute best key lime curd in the world.
