Description

EXCLUSIVE Developed just for Sur La Table in Pittsburgh, PA, by USA Pan, our commercial-quality cake pan meets the highest standards for performance and durability. Each piece in this set is constructed with the same features found in the best pans in the industry.

Thick aluminized steel offers superior heat transfer, corrosion and rust resistance, and excellent durability. Each pan’s thickness is based on years of performance data to deliver perfectly even heat distribution and a lifetime of use. Steel wire is added to pan rims for extra strength and resistance to warping. Our Platinum bakeware is manufactured with 65% recycled steel.

Unique fluted design with corrugated construction maximizes strength and impact resistance, and resists warping and denting that can occur with use. Textured surface allows airflow under baking food for beautifully even overall results and easy release every time.

In addition, our eco-friendly nonstick silicone coating is specifically formulated for baking and contains no PTFEs or PFOAs. The most advanced coating available, no other surface releases food and cleans up more easily.

Total Disappointment
I received 4 pans (cake and loaf) from this line and ALL of them rusted on the underside of the rolled edge after the very first wash. I never even got to use them.
I expect more from SLT. What a disappointment

Awesome cake pan!
I love this cake pan. I've been using it for a couple years and it is still in great shape and bakes the perfect cake every time!

Platinum Perfect
This is my very first round cake pan and is the perfect one for a beginner like myself. It helps reduce the stress and increase the pleasure of baking. I just need one more to move onto double layer cake making.

I have the 8 inch pans and they are best thing since
sliced bread.No need to grease pans.Just pour and
stick in the oven.The finished product slips right out and

The brownies I make are quite dense, and I've always greased the pan, lined it with tinfoil, then greased and floured the tinfoil--all just to get them out of the pan. What, if any, of these steps can I omit and still be assured of easy removal of the brownies from the Platinum Professional pans?

I have never tried baking brownies in these pans.I know they are excellent for cakes,as no butter/flouring or
lining of tins are necessary.For brownies in my opinion.They would have remain in tin for awhile to properly
cool.Try releasing by taking a blunt knife so as not to compromise the coating on the tin.Run knife all the way around the circumference of the tin.Then turn upside down and try tapping on base of tin or shaking to release brownie mix from tin. All the best.
Do I need to grease and flour this pan?

BEST ANSWER: No, none of the Platinum Professional pans require grease and flour, that is one of the great things about this product line. I bake banana nut bread in the loaf pans, bake cookies on the baking sheets, make cakes in the cake pans without any grease and flour nothing has every stuck to he pans. Some of the pans I have had for 2 years with the cake pans being the most recent addition.
