Didn't last long
I carefully followed the manufacturers instructions about cleaning and pre-heating the stone to avoid cracking. The stone made terrific pizza however after only a handful of uses it cracked in half while in the oven (after making several small pizzas on it). Seems as if perhaps some melted cheese that ran off the crust may have caused it to crack.

Broke after first use
I used this pizza stone exactly once. Thank heavens it cracked down the middle right after we were done with our pizzas.

We followed all the directions, and then it just cracked in half right down the middle just after we cooked 3 pizzas.

I DO NOT recommend, buy something sturdier.

The only 'good' was Sur La Table took it right back for a store credit. The person there told me there are a lot of returns on this pizza stone.

Where is this stone made? Why do you not list this on your Name Branded products? Are you ashamed of the fact that you make most everything in China? The other Pizza Stones you carry that are not your brand all list that they are made in China, so why won't you? Just hoping that by being unlisted one will pick it over those that are honest enough to list China?
Bruce N on Dec 1, 2014
Best Answer: This stone is made in China.
