Does what a Kitchenaid should!
My husband and I bought this Kitchenaid stand mixer as our own house-warming gift to ourselves after purchasing our first home together. Since I moved out of my parent's a decade ago, I've used the same off-brand electric hand mixer. I've been able to do most things with that hand mixer, but baking takes forever. No multitasking to be done because I have to physically stand over whatever I'm mixing.

The Kitchenaid is great because I can get started on wet ingredients while measuring out my dry ingredients. Need some whipped cream? No problem - give me just a moment! Oh, and then you can also knead dough with it (something I CANNOT do with my hand mixer). I made a pizza the other night. It functions well. The included attachments are easy to put on and take off. The pistachio color looks beautiful (matches well to the picture). I gave this item an all-around 5 star review. I believe I would have given it 4 stars on value except that when I purchased the item, they had a $30 mail-in rebate special. Let's face it, these suckers are expensive so $30 is no joke.

Shipping was fast. Overall, I'm VERY pleased with my purchase and so glad I made it was Sur la Table. For the record, I think people sound silly when they pronounce it ""sur la tahb"". I will always pronounce it as the English ""tay-buhl""
