Frother
I got one of these for Christmas and just love it. It's so easy to operate and so portable. Such a treat for coffee, hot chocolate or cappuccino. It is also easy to clean. First batteries inserted still going strong

Definitely would not purchase again
As the previous reviewer said, it is top heavy and difficult to keep the battery part dry when trying to clean the wand. Some moisture got in and after only just 4 uses the frother is ruined. In addition, the frother started malfunctioning after 2 uses where it would continue to run even without holding the button down, until I had to remove the batteries

Ok milk frother
I liked the idea of this. I just bought a Bialetti Moka Expresso maker and thought this would give me the option to have lattes and frothy cappucinos at home. While I can't say it didn't froth the milk, I don't like it that it's hard to keep the battery part of the frother dry when you need to clean the wand after using it. Plus it is top-heavy so it tips over easily and the top doesn't fasten securely to the plastic bottom. If this wasn't on sale, I wouldn't have even bothered trying it

Total lemon of a product
I'm on my second one, the first one was replaced when it stopped working after 3 uses. I removed the wand before cleaning, so it wasn't anything I did wrong (I definitely did not get any water in the battery compartment). It simply wouldn't start when the button was pressed (and it actually felt a bit like the button couldn't be pressed all the way).

The second one is now also broken after only a couple of months of light use. I have to hold it sideways to get it to start, the frother doesn't move up and down the wand like it is supposed to, and what the other reviewers said about it eating through batteries is definitely true as maybe 10 uses in I'm ready to replace them.

Would not buy again, even at the sale price. With the cost of batteries, would be hesitant to accept one for free.

Still in search of a good portable frother because I like my creature comforts when camping. If you can recommend a good one I'm all ears

Milk frother
I bought this product for the convenience of being battery operated, but it eats up the batteries faster than expected. The manual says that the wand will move up and down on its own, but either this is not true or mine has a defect since once thw wand goes up it won't come down unless the on/off button is released

Bought this as it was on sale...and I understand why.

You have to push the frothing button about 5 or 6 times to get the desired frothiness.

After about the 3rd use, as one of the other commenters commented, it's seemed to freeze up. I need to take it back....

Not Bodum's best
