I would give this a 4.5 rating . . .
I love the concept, I love the shape . . . but when I use it for a heftier soup, I have to shake out my ladle heartily, before putting it on the counter - or it tips over and defeats the whole purpose of elevation. Great for light-weight soups, such as broths, but the balance is off with bisques or chowders. Just needs a little more tweaking, to offset any residue left on the spoon, during serving or cooking use. If I don't have the time to shake it out, it ends up laying on the countertop or back onto a spoon rest. Otherwise, I love it and use it all the time

Best ladle ever
The balanced ladle will 'hang' on the edge of my waffle batter bowl. And the curvatures of the ladle edge will easily hug the bowl and pot corner to get the last drop. I bought it exclusively for my waffle batter, but now hangs on the wall as it is my favorite. My other ladles will be donated to some needy organization. I highly reccommend

How many oz is this ladle

I'm looking for something at least 10 oz. I have waffle plates that take a heaping cup of batter, but most batter isn't thick enough to heap in my current ladle. Would prefer non-stick
