Great donuts!
These are very rich chocolate donuts. Super easy mix to make.

Only trick is don't fill the donut pan too much. When they say 1/2 filled go with it or you end up with donuts that don't have holes

Good flavor and not too sweet
I'd recommend this flavor but they are really really dry. I do like that they weren't overly sweet even with the glaze.

Good baked donuts
Bought the Wilton donut pan and this mix today and made it right away as soon as I got home. I had to add about a tbsp more of buttermilk as the batter seemed really thick.

I put the batter in a piping bag and easily piped it into the pan. I had enough to make 13 donuts.

The frosting packets makes way too much frosting. Probably enough to dip another dozen donuts in.

Haven't tasted them yet, but they seemed to bake really well and I put sprinkles on a few. A bit costly for the mix, but wanted to try my pan right away. Will probably just make my own batter in the future

Tastes great
These donuts were very tasty; however, they are a bit too sweet and too heavy. They were easy to make, as my 7 year old twins helped out with ease. :-

Way too dense
I bought this mix with donut pans for my kids (15 & 18) to have something to do over Christmas break. The first time they mixed the batter I thought they had definitely did something wrong. While the directions say to pour or pipe the batter into the pan, the batter was so thick (like a sugar cookie dough) that my daughter had to fill the wells by hand. I bought another box of mix & did this one myself. Again, the batter was sticky & dry, not doughnut batter consistency at all, neither pourable nor pipable - if that's even a word. As for the flavor, they are very dry & dense, the icing not quite the chocolate flavor you'd expect. Disappointed. But the kids had fun.

Way too dense and strange tasting icing
The insides were more like brownies or a dense cake than what I think of in a chocolate cake donut. Also, the icing tasted like cheap, off-brand chocolate syrup that you would squirt into milk to make it "chocolate milk". Kind of a bitter, almost synthetic/chemically taste. Not horrible, but not worth the money I paid for them, even on sale. I would not buy these again.
