Love it!
I saw a recommendation for this olive oil by Cooks Illustrated/American Test Kitchens, so had to try it. I'm so glad I did. I really like it...it has kind of a ""fruity"" taste, but I have been using it for everything. I had been using the same olive oil for years (I don't venture out much!), so it was fun to try something new. I will buy this again...a good product at a good value. Thanks, CI for a great recommendation and thanks to Sur La Table for carrying the product and shipping so promptly

I no longer live in the US, but when I did, this olive oil was my go to. I've lived in Italy (and other countries) but never found an olive oil to compare to this one. I love that it's made in the USA. I already know that I love the taste...this decision was easy!

Can you please provide the "Harvest Month and Year" and the "Best Use by Month and Year"? for California Olive Ranch Extra Virgin Olive Oil? I noticed it was left out of your description.

Is it okay to refrigerate olive oil? If not, why is that? My kitchen gets pretty warm and I don't want it to get rancid. Thanks!

Best Answer: Olive oil will become solid in the refrigerator. If it doesn't, it is not pure olive oil. I keep mine in a convenient pour bottle on my kitchen counter and put the larger bottle in a lower kitchen cabinet. I have never had olive oil go rancid.
