Wonderful saucier!
When I first bought the 2qt saucier I was afraid I wouldn't use it enough to justify the expense. It's worth every penny, and such a pleasure to use. Even heat distribution and the pot is heavy enough that you can whisk your sauces and gravies one-handed without the pan moving around on the burner. I also use it for custards, ice cream bases, puddings, caramel, anything that needs to be stirred often while cooking

Love this pot!
I bought the 2 qt and it gets used nearly everyday in my kitchen. Sauces, oatmeal, even heating up some soup. Dishwasher safe but it's so easy to clean right up in the sink. Been collecting All Clad pieces as I can afford them because they're so great!

Go Saucier!
I have coveted this pan for years and finally took the plunge and purchased it. Now I wonder why I waited so long. This 2 qt saucier is the best addition to my already extensive All-Clad arsenal, but it is by far the winner. I use it everyday to make oatmeal, melt chocolate, warm soups and sauces. It truly is a gem. I cannot imagine my kitchen without.

Great Pot - 3Qt. unique lid
We have a 4qt and a 2qt, and I wanted one in between, plus read great reviews about the saucier. It's a great choice for us. Take note is that lid on the 3 qt is unique in size and its shape and doesn't fit on most other All Clad pots. The 2 qt is a standard lid. Otherwise, it's awesome!

My "go to" everyday pan
I truly use this pan almost everyday. For custards, caramel, hard boiled eggs, making smaller batches of applesauce and pasta. I bought as a gift for myself and I'm so glad I did!

I own a full set of All-Clad cookware. I purchased this saucier for my sister-in-law so she can make her famous bourbon sauce for bread pudding. She used my saucier and fell in love with it. I highly recommend All-Clad for the professional and serious home cook.

I am upgrading my saucepans and thought this saucier would be a great addition. This 2 quart saucier with a 3.5 quart saucepan.

I have used a saucier pan in my cooking classes and it so much easier for stirring than a standard sauce pan because it has no edge on the bottom.

have been wanting this particular saucier for a while.

Ever since I bought my first All Clad saucepan over a decade ago. I absolutely refuse to but any other brand, except for my Staub/ Le Creuset type pots and of course, the ubiquitous black iron pot (to not use that when indicated would be un-Cajun, and I am one). I probably own about 20 of them now, but am always looking for another shape, size, or new style that I just must have. Cannot cook without them.

I gave the old ones to my daughter and I wanted to replace my All-clad pieces that were not dishwasher safe. I love the curved sides of the sauciers. I can whisk a perfectly smooth sauce with having food missed in the corners.
Marion M on Jun 25, 2016
Was replacing 2 expensive Amway Queen stainless as they called them pots from the 70's.They have been great but were getting a little worn after many years of use. The measurements were the same, quality stainless, and on sale. Therefore, I purchased. Have other All Clad pieces that I purchased at the Navy Exchanges but now they only carry the brand on-line. The ability to acquire more info i.e. dimensions were not available. --customer service at your site won out even though more expensive.

Have been wanting this for at least a year. Want to collect more All Clad but it will be a slow process (hefty price!) Thought this pan would be a useful starting piece.
Juliann H on Mar 28, 2016
All-Clad is made in the USA. It is the best cookware.
Linda S on Mar 27, 2016
The saucier, with its higher sloping sides that a regular saucepan, makes it easier to make sauces, polenta, or risottos. A useful addition for any cook's kitchen.

A saucier is more flexible than a saucepan and best product in the industry. These are made in the USA, make sure when you order your product is made in USA, some All Clad items are not

Returned because it had no lid. Thought the shape was cute but would be difficult to stack with other pans, unless you had more of the same in other sizes

I had one for a number of years - I loved it for heating
liquids/making sauce etc and it got burnt! So I miss
it a lot. . It is not the same - heating in a regular
sauce pan. So I am delighted to be able to order it
I do like my All clad pans - all except the grill pan, its
very hard to clean! Thank you..

dimensions

What are the dimensions of the sauciers? I have an All Clad pan that I purchased from you a couple of years ago. It is about 3"" deep and 9 1/2"" across at the top. My son expressed interest in having one, but I don't know whether it is a saucier or a saute pan. It has a lid. I'm 60 miles from the nearest store, so it isn't convenient for me to just go in and check it out
A shopper on Jun 3, 2012
BEST ANSWER: More shallow than a classic saucepan, All-Clad’s saucier is designed for foods requiring frequent stirring or whisking, including creamy sauces, risotto, polenta and custards. The pan's wider mouth allows for efficient sauce reduction, while its curved sides enable easy incorporation of ingredients.

The 2qt saucier is 3" Tall X 8" in Diameter and approximately 15" from Handle to Handle.
Does this product come with a lid?

It is pictured with a lid.
A shopper on Feb 11, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The 1-qt. saucier does not come with a lid.
The 2-qt. saucier does come with a lid.
What are the dimensions of the 1 quart saucier?
A shopper on Nov 10, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The 1 quart saucier is 6"" wide and 2.25"" deep. The length including the handle is 12.75""
I have All Clad d5 saucier 3qt without lid. Could you tell me the suitable size of lid and give me the model ID and the URL?
Hiroko C on Dec 7, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have found the regular 3 quart sauce pan lid to work well. My 3 quart saucier pan came with a lid and the lids are interchangeable, so not worth spending extra money unless you need both pans to have lids simultaneously while cooking.
i thought All Clad had a copper core. Was i wrong, or when did they change
A shopper on Dec 2, 2013
BEST ANSWER: AllClad does have a line called AllClad Copper Core. This piece is not from that line; it is from the AllClad Stainless Steel Line.
In the description it says it is made out of stainless steel and aluminum. What part of the pan is made of aluminum?
A shopper on May 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: As I understand it the pan is made of a stainless aluminum "sandwich." So everything you see is stainless, the aluminum is in the inside for heat conduction.

One interesting thing about the pan that we've found is that although the handle is metal and attached directly to the pan, the handle never gets too hot to handle, regardless of how long the pan is on the heat.
can I sauté veggies in this pan?
A shopper on Feb 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hypothetically, yes, one could sautée vegetables is this pan. However it'd only work for a very small portion, now more than a few ounces. Otherwise what you would end up with is a steamed vegetable. The high sides don't allow for the escape of moisture the same way the low sides of a sautée pan does.
Is there a double boiler insert that fits the saucier?
A shopper on Dec 7, 2014
BEST ANSWER: No, as the double boiler is meant for a saucepan.
Is the finish on the pan brushed stainless or a shiny polished stainless finish?
Christine G on Dec 31, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The one I purchased was shiny, not brushed....and we use a non scratchy scrub sponge to clean it to avoid scratching i.
