Exactly what I needed!
It's difficult to turn a crepe with a regular spatula, because it invariably gets folded or torn. This wooden crepe turner is long and flat and perfect for sliding under crepes and flipping them without tearing. A must have for anyone who wants to make crepes hassle-free! The price is fantastic, too! I found another wooden crepe turner online at another store for $19.95 - an absolutely ridiculous price, especially when compared to the fantastic deal I got here at Sur La Table

Such a deal for an indispensible tool
If you make a fair amount of crepes, this tool is great. It is lightweight, perfect for crepe flipping, won't scratch nonstick pans, and can be used equally well by right- and left-handers. Since I've never found a fish spatula for lefties, I've even used it for that. At this ridiculously low price, what are you waiting for

Wood Crepe Turner made flipping creps easy
We are new to making crepes and have been struggling with getting them turned over to cook the other side. Your Wood Crepe Turner did the trick, it helped us easily turn over our crepes.

I use the turner for everything. It's especially great with eggs. Just don't tap it on the side of the pan... it will splinter.

The crepe wood turner was highly recommended by another customer. The situation described was similar to an experience I'd had in trying the turn crepes with a regular spatula, so I'm going to give this one a try.

We made crepes in our French class. It was fun! I purchased an inexpensive crepe pan at Aldi and i'm going to try to make them here at home. It is easier to use the proper tools when spreading and flipping the crepes.

size?

How long is this?
A shopper on Jan 11, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Overall this spatula is 10 1/2"" long. 6 1/2"" is just the turner portion
From what type of wood is this tool made?
A shopper on Jan 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I would guess that it is birch. It is thin and light weight and works very well.
How should I care for this tool? Should I oil it? with what? how often?
Holly T on Nov 29, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Don't oil it, but thoroughly clean and dry immediately after each use, and store it where it won't get banged around without other kitchen equipment (or anything else).
