Good for tough buildup on not-so-tough surfaces
I use these copper scrub-cloths to remove tough buildup on scrubbable surfaces which are too delicate for steel wool. Good for removing baked-on crud from ceramic bakeware, some stains from stainless (?) steel cooks' tools, etc). I've had these for about a year now, used them only occasionally, machine-wash them (in a delicates-bag) with the dishrags, and they've held up fine

These work in conjunction with Bar Keeper's Friend cleaner for our All-Clad, Viking and Mauviel pans/pots/skillets. I use the cooper cloths to knock off as much gunk, residue and then I finish with Bar Keeper's Friend. These cloths do not scratch stainless steel or ceramics, which is a bonus. These cloths are especially good on ceramics such as Apilco.

Hi I have a Thermador stainless steel stove with a black top. I can never seem to get the black top back to new. Will these work on that without scratching the top???
Nancy on Sep 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: First of all, this is terrific product; I use mine everyday for kitchen cleanups, such as scouring out our Lodge cast iron skillets. It also works great removing cofffee and tea stains from cups that won't come clean in the dishwasher. I have also used these copper cloths on my own stove stop, with no satisfactory results. I'm not comfortablee recommending you do the same on your expensive stove, though. Better to ask the manufacturer. BTW, if anyone can recommend a product that will remove the cooking stains from a gas stove top, share them with me. None of the many products I've tried will remove these stains, baked on by high heat.
Are these cloths 100% copper?
vivian c on Mar 27, 2015
BEST ANSWER: don't know the answering to that question; you'd have to contact the manufacturer. however i can say that the cloths are excellent cleaning tools and last quite awhile. i run them through the dishwasher from time to time to freshen them. they don't rust and the weave doesn't break down. i use them in the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room and in my greenhouse where they clean sap and dirt from pruning saw blades like a champ. highly recommend.
I have copper sinks; can I use these on them without damaging?
A shopper on Sep 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: No. You shouldn't use abrasive scrubbers of any kind on your copper cookware.
