Winner of the “Best New Product” category at the 2009 World Tea Expo! Simple and elegant, the stainless steel Hario Buono Kettle’s ergonomic design features a long, slender spout for slow, steady and controlled pouring. Slow and precise pouring ensures even saturation and prolonged extraction of grounds for flavorful, full-bodied and complex cups of coffee every time.
The Buono Kettle works perfectly with the Hario V60 ceramic coffee dripper. Ideal for use on any type of cooking surface, including induction. 6" h; 34 oz. Dishwasher safe. Made in Japan.
There are many kettles like this out there, but none as beautiful as this one. Of course, it does the job: heats quickly, easy to use and perfect perfect perfect slow pouring spout. So, on a weekend when I want to make a special pot of coffee and sit with the paper, this kettle is now my favorite
This kettle is beautiful and flawlessly designed. The lid has steam release holes, and no whistle. It pours so well - precisely, without dripping, and without feeling too heavy - that I use it to water houseplants as well as to boil water. I used to insist that my kettle be put away when not in use - like another commenter, I leave this kettle out all the time. It is unusual to be so satisfied with an online purchase, and I am likely to give this kettle as a gift at the holidays
I bought this because of the high reviews but EVERYTIME I used this there was water all over my stovetop. No matter how careful I was, as the water boiled, it evaporated through the spout resulting in a puddle on my stove. I only wanted to boil water not do a clean-up on aisle 5! Pretty kettle but designed for form, not function.
