I bought this to use for piping cookies and decorate cakes. It was not capable of doing either. The silicone bag bulged from the sides and felt like it was going to burst when I tried to pipe spritz cookies, which isn't a very tough dough. The same was the case for a simple butter cream. In the case of the butter cream, though, it went from too hard to pipe to too warm and runny because the silicone transfers heat too easily.
On a positive note, though, it was really easy to clean and dry because it was made of silicone. Also, the quality of the tips were nice. It's just too bag the silicone bag couldn't hold its shape when squeezed
I am simply in love with this tube set. The quality is outstanding and I love how the tubes are clear so you can see if there are any bubbles before you start piping. This is a great feature! The silicone bag is wonderful. I have tried piping everything from mashed potatoes to a whipped almond cream and it has performed like a champ everytime. The bag has a nice pebble? texture to it and that makes it really nice to grip when you have greasy buttercream fingers! Everything washed up nice in the dishwasher as well. 5 stars all around for another great product purchased at Sur la table!
I bought this but the tips don't fit in the bag. Did I do something wrong? Is there a particular size coupler I should buy with it?

Best Answer:You should not need a coupler for this product. I do know that it is a very tight fit and when I did mine I cut about 1/2"" from the tip and then turned the bag inside out and placed the end of my tip through the opening and flipped the bag back over the tip
