great for salsa in quantity & kid-safe
This works well for dicing sliced tomatoes safely, quickly, and uniformly; then I use the smaller dice for onions, and even halved jalapenos. The blades stay in place easily and are sharp enough for most tasks, and it's easy to clean. Paired with the Zyliss tomato slicer, salsa's a snap!

Poor Design Change
I had a slicer like this without the changeable blades. I loved it so much I wore it out. The new interchangeable blades are a terrible idea. They do not stay in place as you pick up the lid. The blade has to be repositioned every time. Too bad the original idea was ruined.
