it works
this fish turner will turn fish. It works. My spatula made a mess of things and this proved to be the right tool for the job. Believer.

Love it!
How did I ever live without this thing? Perfect for fish and other delicate foods. This size is great for most pans.

Wasn't a Big Fan—Handle and Spatula Elements Got Losse
I wanted to love this spatula. It was perfect: the price was right, the size was right, and I love mostly everything I buy from Sur la Table. Unfortunately, the part where the handle and the spatula element meet came loose. It didn't fall out or anything, but it just got rickety. I'm very particular about my cooking tools, and I need everything to be exactly right. I ended up spending $70 (egad!!) on a Global version of this spatula (welded from one piece of stainless steel), and I'm really happy with the alternative, even though it's tremendously more expensive.

Thin and Flexible
I purchased this to use with my wok. This type of thin fish turner is what Grace Young recommends for stir frying, in particular, for meat. It allows you to get under the meat instead of pushing it with a thicker spatula. The large spatula is a bit too big for the wok, so I will order the small one. This is not a bad reflection on the spatula, just an incorrect choice on my part. This also works wonderfully for fried eggs and cookies. So far, it appears sturdy, but I've only used it a few times.
