I purchased this to bake my cheesecakes. I use a water bath for baking them, and double-wrapping my springform pans has become tedious.
I went out on a limb and used this pan with no foil wrap. The pan sealed perfectly, and my crust was flawless. The unmolding was effortless and the finished cheesecake was the prettiest I've ever made. I'd highly recommend this pan
I bought the 9 inch pan and baked a marble cheesecake and then a French apple cake in it. No leaks, no muss, no fuss! So simple - after years of fighting with the spring forms pans! I LOVE THIS PAN! Going to order the other 2 sizes and put the spring forms in my yard sale box! Woo Hoo!!
I'd never had a push pan before and I'm so glad I bought this. The directions are very clear as to how to use it. My baked goods come out perfectly each time, even though I have to use gluten-free flours and mixes (which can be tempermental). I'm making tarts for the first time in my life and they present beautifully, thanks to my push pan
I bake a lot of cheesecakes and use the traditonal springform pan and place in a water bath using foil around the pan. This usually works but water does get in a little sometimes. So I decided to try this out and was a bit skeptical. But it works nicely and the best part when pushing down it keeps the edges consistent whereas sometimes the spring form pan pulls at the sides of the cake and if the pan wasn't greased fully or even small spots missed or not as slick the cake would pull from small sections. This pushing down seems to eliminate that issue. Definitely worth it and I might buy a second one.
I had high hopes for this pan because I had grown tired of wrapping pans in foil and having them leak any way. I did everything correctly but this pan leaked, which did not make me happy. I will say it cleaned up nicely and the cheesecake is easy to remove. I liked those features better than conventional spring form pans. If I did not have a pan, I would buy this for those features (knowing that it will leak). But I am returning the pan. I already have a pan that leaks; I don't need another.
How tall are these pans? What are the full measurements for all three sizes?

The dimensions of these pans are as follows:
8" Diameter X 2 1/4" Tall 9" Diameter X 2 1/4" Tall 10" Diameter X 2 1/4" Tall
Will the leakproof feature work for a cheesecake even if you're not making a standard crust? I usually just dust the sides of the pan with cookie crumbs before pouring in the cheesecake batter.

Best Answer:I have not baked a cheesecake in this pan (yet); however, after seeing this query, I filled the pan with water and let it sit for about 2 hours or so - and there was no leak at all from the pan.
