Buttermilk Waffle Dippers

Serves: Makes 2 to 3 servings

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • ½ stick of butter, melted and cool
  • 2 cups of buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon canola oil spray


Procedures:

These irresistible bite-sized waffles are great for breakfast, or as a sweet treat to dip in your favorite hot beverage. Easily bake 18 tasty mini waffle sticks in minutes with the Wilton© Waffle Dipper Pan.

Preheat oven to 450°F. Lightly spray a waffle-dipper pan with canola oil.

In a bowl, whisk the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, melted butter and buttermilk. Slowly whisk the wet mixture into the flour mixture.

Pour the batter into a batter squeezer, and squeeze the batter into the waffle molds, filling two-thirds to the top. Bake for 10 minutes.

With a spatula, remove the waffles from the pan and serve immediately.
