Garlic Sweet Potato Mash


  • 4 to 5 pounds of sweet potatoes, peeled & cut
  • ½ stick (¼ cup) unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • Salt
  • Fresh black pepper

  • Procedures:

    Finely chop the garlic in the food processor and set aside.

    Without attaching any tool to the Cooking Chef Induction Kitchen Machine, put sweet potatoes and water in the mixing bowl. Set the temperature to maximum and the speed to stirring 3. Attach the splashguard and boil for about 22 to 24 minutes until the potatoes are soft.

    Drain the potatoes and set aside. Attach the K Beater to the Cooking Chef Induction Kitchen Machine, and set the temperature to medium-high. Add the butter to the mixing bowl; once melted add the chopped garlic and sauté until golden. Return the sweet potatoes to the bowl, add the cream and sour cream. Set the speed to 4 and mix with K Beater until smooth.

    Press the pulse button to incorporate all of the ingredients.

    Add salt and pepper to taste.
