Vita-Mix Carob Smoothie
Ingredients
- 3-4 dates, pitted
- 8 oz. / 240 ml nut or grain milk
- 1 frozen banana, cut in chunks
- 3-4 tablespoon carob powder (SLT notation— Find in health stores or some groceries)
- dash vanilla (optional)
Procedure
- Place dates in a small bowl with just enough water to cover. Let them soak 20 minutes
then drain
- In a Vita-Mix blender, combine the dates, nut milk, banana, carob powder and vanilla. Blend until smooth. Drink immediately.
