What You Will Learn

The authentic Mediterranean dish Zuppa Di Pesce (fish soup) is an Italian Christmas Eve tradition, and actually more of a savory stew with its spicy tomato sauce and delicious array of fresh seafood. Zuppa Di Pesce is all about timing, adding each seafood and fish at precise intervals dependent upon their cooking requirements, to draw out their ideal tenderness and flavor. Typically enjoyed with toasted bread, Zuppa Di Pesce also makes a lovely sauce for pasta, so we will prepare fresh pasta as a tasty side dish. To finish, we’ll revel in the goodness of an Italian classic, zeppoli, deep-fried fritters of sweet dough. Come join us to enjoy the festive flavors of a true Italian holiday dinner!
