What You Will Learn
Can’t wait for dessert? Make all sorts of yummy goodies and become your family’s resident dessert chef! Join a group of kids and an experienced Sur La Table chef instructor in the kitchen to learn how to make your favorite sweets, snacks and treats from around the world! Go to Italy for chocolaty gelato, France for fruity crepes, Mexico for amazing fondue and England for tender scones! And that’s just the beginning!
Kids will master core basics of baking to develop creativity for a lifetime foundation of fun in the kitchen, including how to follow recipes, measuring, mixing, monitoring cooking temperatures and times, and kitchen safety. At the end of each class students will eat their creations.
This camp has been edited down to 4 days in order to accomodate the 4th of July holiday and each class will run about 2 hours.
So share your love of cooking with kids through an experience they’ll never forget. At the end of our intensely tasty treats camp, each kid chef will take home a packet of the recipes they made and their own Sur La Table apron. Kids age 8-12 are welcome to join.
