We invite you to an exclusive opportunity to meet Dave Cruz, former Chef de Cuisine of Thomas Keller’s Ad Hoc restaurant in Yountville as part of a very intimate group in the kitchen of our Union Street store. Chef Cruz will create and discuss a selection of his favorite dishes right in front of you. He’ll also serve each dish as it’s prepared, so you’ll enjoy an elegant seated dinner over the course of your evening.
Chef Dave Cruz
After pursuing a degree at the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Dave Cruz honed his skills at March Restaurant, Mas and Nobu in New York City. He eventually became Executive Sous Chef at Thomas Keller’s Bouchon then Chef de Cuisine at Ad Hoc. The cookbook he co-authored with Keller, Ad Hoc at Home, won both James Beard and IACP awards and appeared on the NYT bestseller list for 7 weeks. Cruz has been featured in national magazines and television and he is soon to open Miles Restaurant in the Bay Area.
