Baking Around the World for Kids & Teens
What You Will Learn
Travel the globe indulging your sweet tooth while learning how to make scrumptious international desserts. In this fun exploration of world treats, you’ll join a group of other kids and teens and an expert Sur La Table chef instructor for a full week of dessert-making instruction. Students will master core basics of baking to develop creativity for a lifetime foundation of cooking skills and fun in the kitchen, including how to follow recipes, measuring, mixing, monitoring cooking temperatures and timing and kitchen safety. At the end of each class students will eat their creations.
Kids and Teens ages 8-17 are welcome to join our popular hands-on camp. Classes run about two hours each and last for five consecutive days, and each student will take home a Sur La Table apron and a packet of the recipes they make. Share your love of cooking with kids and teens through an experience they’ll never forget.
Please note: Classes are only available as a five-day series, no single day enrollments.
