SAVEUR Magazine seeks out stories from around the globe that weave together culture, tradition, and people through the language of food. We’ve partnered with them to present; SAVEUR Cooks, which will bring a new variety of themes to our Cooking Classes.

Who doesn’t love chocolate? And at this time of year, we indulge in it more than ever in the form of brownies and cakes and pies and tarts and candies. For this class, we’ve gathered our all-time favorite chocolate desserts, along with tips for everything from shopping for chocolate to working with it in your kitchen.

After receiving a Culinary Diploma from the Art Institute of Houston, Kernan apprenticed under Chef Philippe Schmit at Bistro Moderne. Ed’s worked for us since 2006, running culinary programs in Houston, Seattle and now Dallas.
