Where is All-Clad Made?

All-Clad products are manufactured in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. Located near Pittsburgh, this small town has been the home of All-Clad since the company was founded in 1971. The region is the main hub for the American steel and aluminum industries and is home to some of the world's top metalworkers, making it the perfect location for the latest in metal fabrication technology.

Should I Season My All-Clad Stainless Steel Pans?

All-Clad stainless steel pans do not need to be seasoned. Instead, simply preheat your pan on low or medium heat for one to two minutes, then add fats (1 to 2 teaspoons of oil or butter) to the hot pan to coat it well. This will maximize browning and minimize sticking when using your stainless steel All-Clad pans. Users should never apply aerosol nonstick sprays to All-Clad cookware. Learn more about stainless steel vs nonstick cookware on our blog, Lid & Ladle.

Can You Use Metal on All-Clad?

Metal tools and utensils should not be used on All-Clad nonstick cookware as they can potentially chip or scratch the nonstick coatings and hinder performance. The All-Clad lifetime warranty may be void if metal tools or utensils are used on a nonstick cooking surface. Additionally, users should not use scouring pads or steel wool on All-Clad nonstick cookware.

For All-Clad bonded stainless steel cookware collections, all tools and utensil materials are safe to use; however, first add 1 to 2 teaspoons of oil or butter to the hot pan to coat the surface well. This will maximize browning and minimize sticking when using your stainless steel All-Clad pans. Never apply aerosol nonstick sprays to All-Clad cookware.

How Do I Clean My All-Clad Stainless Steel Pans?

Follow these steps to clean your All-Clad stainless steel pans:
  1. Wait for the pan to cool down before cleaning. (Placing a hot pan under cold water could cause warping.)
  2. Use a nonabrasive, non-chlorine cleaner. We recommend All-Clad cookware cleaner for the best results.
  3. Immerse the pan in warm water. Form a paste with the All-Clad cookware cleaner and, using a soft cloth, rub the paste in a circular motion from the center outwards.
  4. Wash in hot, soapy water to remove the paste, then rinse.
  5. Dry immediately to prevent water spotting.

Do All-Clad Pans have Teflon?

All-Clad pans do not contain Teflon. The brand's nonstick cookware uses a high-performing, PFOA-free nonstick coating to keep foods from clinging to the surface, including delicate or sticky foods. The quality of the cookware also eliminates hot spots, which may damage nonstick coatings and cause the surface to burn or flake off. Be sure to follow All-Clad cookware instructions for the best results.

How Do You Clean Burnt All-Clad Pans?

For stuck-on food along with discolorations and stains from exposure to high heat, a specialty stainless steel cleaning product called Bar Keepers Friend is recommended for cleaning. Combine this product with water to create a soupy paste. Apply the paste to the interior and exterior as needed. Rub the paste on the surface of the pan with a soft cloth or sponge until burnt areas or heat-related stains and discolorations have been removed.

Does All-Clad Have a Lifetime Warranty?

All-Clad cookware and bakeware are backed by lifetime warranties. The brand's kitchen electrics, accessories and spare parts feature limited warranties; kitchen appliances are supported by an extensive authorized service network for repairs and spare parts.
