What you will learn
Do you have an aspiring baker in your family? Then please have them join us in the kitchen where our experienced Sur La Table chef instructor will teach them how to make three of their favorite baked treats. Kids will master core basics of baking including how to follow recipes, measuring, mixing, monitoring cooking temperatures and times, and kitchen safety. They will also learn how to make a yeast dough and create their own, perfect scones. This hands-on class will help them develop their creativity for a lifetime of fun in the kitchen.
What To Expect:
Great cooking isn't about recipes—it's about techniques. In our classes you'll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

Interact with classmates and the instructor for a rich learning experience
Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above, and each student enjoys a generous taste of every dish
Held in our professional teaching kitchens, each class is led by an experienced chef instructor
Hands-on classes are limited to 16 participants
