    • Remove packaging and/or decorations before burning
    • Trim wick 1/8 inch (0.3cm) prior to each lighting. Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and other debris. Keep wick centered and away from container wall
    • If flame smokes, extinguish, re-trim the wick and check for drafts; burn in a well-ventilated room, avoid drafty areas
    • Burn on a stable, non-flammable heat resistant surface. Container will be hot when candle is lit; allow to cool before touching or handing
    • Burn for no longer than 4 hours at a time. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Discontinue use when 1/2in (1.2cm) of wax remains at bottom, as glass may break
