Bob Kramer’s Meteorite Smoked Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 meteorite
  • 1 piece of cherry wood
  • 4 (5- to 6-ounce) salmon fillets



Procedure

Heat meteorite using an induction heater until it turns orange.

Carefully put hot meteorite in a deep soup pot; cover with a piece of cherry wood and lay a small wire on top of that.

Place salmon fillets on wire rack inside pot and cover with lid.

Wait 10 to 15 minutes and voilà – smoked salmon, à la meteorite!
