Kid & Teens Cook: Pasta

Ages 8 - 17
In this special class, we’ll teach your aspiring young chef tantalizing techniques and a few delicious dishes that they can tailor to their own tastes while they sharpen their cooking skills and practice kitchen fundamentals. Our experienced chef instructor will walk your kids ages 8 - 17 through essential skills like knife use and safety, how to follow recipes, measuring, mixing, monitoring cooking temperatures and time—and perhaps most importantly—kitchen safety. Then, we’ll teach them a number of cooking methods, like sautéing, making fresh pasta dough, sauce making, and much more.

What To Expect:

Great cooking isn't about recipes—it's about techniques. In our classes you'll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
  • Learn fundamental skills for a lifetime of great cooking
  • Work side-by-side with other students to prepare each dish
  • Interact with classmates and the instructor for a rich learning experience
  • Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above, and each student enjoys a generous taste of every dish
