A Lot Of Bang For The Buck!
A lot of content in these classes! Well demonstrated. Finally learned how to truss and split a chicken. Love the knife skills segment - will save me a lot of time. Great tips too like on zesting and applying the rub on the chicken. Recipes turned out delicious!
Would like if the videos were more fluid or linked though.

excellent experience
I really enjoyed this! The videos are good quality, well lit, and broken down into digestible chunks so i could pause and resume without getting lost. The course materials (ingredients, cookware, and recipes) are all provided up front, and I'll be able to come back to them again and again in the future. Also the instructor's tone and the level of detail was just right for a seasoned beginner like me.

Confidence!
This video has given me confidence that I can now properly brine, rub, truss and carve a chicken. Prior to watching this, I would have found these tasks intimidating and played it safe, baking boneless chicken as I usually do. Now I can’t wait to prepare this dish for my friends. Plus, if I need to review any of the steps the information is easy to find. Thanks, Sur la Table!

Chicken's not so scary anymore
Cooking a whole chicken has always been scary to me. Let's just say, I'm a little chicken. This class made it so easy and gave me some tips for what to do with my leftovers, including the carcass. I also discovered I've been making my "from scratch" soup backwards this whole time. And who knew a little lemon juice could be just the trick to cutting the grease.

Highly Recommended
What a great experience it was, learning chicken basics in the comfort of my own kitchen at my own pace, yet having the benefit of an instructor give a fully guided lesson. Loved it and can't wait to take more classes in the series.
