Wow, I learned a lot!
I was really impressed with the depth and variety of this class. It's amazing that one class covers something from every meal of the day. Chef Mary is extremely personable and charming, and she drops a ton of tips and techniques throughout the class. I can't believe I even picked up some great tips on scrambled eggs, of all things! My favorite recipe and lesson was the brined pork chops, but also picked up some great tips on braising short ribs and will soon be delighted my quests with Mary's Molten Chocolate Cake.

Great Bang for Your Buck!!
Wow, you really get a bang for your buck with this class. First of all, there are seven recipes from the magazine, which is a lot compared to other online cooking courses. And they come with literally everything you need to pull them off, including a neat “resources” section on the website, so you can go back to recipes whenever you want, take notes, learn about all the tools you’ll need to make each dish and why you need them, etc. It adds a whole other level to prepping your meals. And the dishes are fantastic!! I was impressed with my own cooking for the first time ever. J Will definitely be using some of these dishes for the holidays coming up.

Easy to Follow
I watch a lot of cooking shows but every time I try to recreate them at home, I feel like it never turns out right. I decided to try the Bon App Best class, because I love the magazine and I found it so easy to follow. Mary gave so many great tips and spent the time to explain each step. It was well worth the money!

When are the classes? Are they set on a selected date or whenever?
Gene L on Oct 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: These classes stream online, so they are available 24/7 whenever you're ready.
Is this class acceptable for a beginner?
A shopper on Oct 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, videos explain recipe ingredients and steps clearly and the instructor has a student along with her following instructions and asking questions.
How long will the class be available for viewing?
A shopper on Mar 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Once you purchase it, it will always be available in your account.
How do I access a class I have purchased?
A shopper on Jun 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I found this confusing as well. This is what I do. After signing in, click on My Orders at top right on your screen.
You should see a list of your orders (I only had one!) Pick your class and click on it. Go to Start Your Class (the green buttton), and click it. Next you will see a screen that shows the class in initials only. Straight across from that is a purple Continue button. Click that button. I think you will see the list of the class lessons in a box on the left side of your screen. Pick were you want to start and that video will come up. I hope this helps you. I don't think the site is the most user friendly.
Do I pay $19.98 for every course I take? What if there is a computer problem? Do I receive IT help for BA?
A shopper on Mar 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hey there! You will pay the amount of the course for each one, not for each recipe in the course. I have not had computer problems yet, but you log on to your Sur La Table account and then play the videos and get the recipes on there. You can choose to print the recipes if you want. I hope this helps!
How are the online cooking class different than Food Network shows (of cooking, ie Ina, Giada, etc) or the PBS Create Cooking shows?
A shopper on Oct 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: For one, there are no commercial breaks. Chef Mary Nolan had a "home chef" assist her, to which it was easy to relate. You get a printable copy of the recipe. The online class seemed more personable to me than watching a television show. In addition, you can go at your own pace and never miss a beat.
One class is 1hr & 45 minutes and covers all 7 recipes?
A shopper on Mar 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The class does cover 7 recipes, but you don't need to do them all at once. You can do them in any order and stop and start as you please. It is put together very well and gives you full control.
