  • A: Our classes are great for cooks of all skill levels—pick whichever one sounds interesting to you.
  • Q: Can I take a course with my friends?
  • A: Each course has a in-class Discussion area—as long as your friends are enrolled in the same class, you’ll be able to post messages and pictures or ask questions. You can also share your progress through the course with links to social media.
  • Q: I’m interested in learning how to cook XX, but I don’t see a course for that. Can I make a suggestion?
  • A: Sure! We’re always interested in hearing from you. And keep checking our Courses page—we add new classes on a regular basis.
  • Q: Can I download my class to watch offline?
  • A: Access to the course itself requires a working internet connection. That said, the recipes and some supplemental course materials can be downloaded for offline use.

Great recipes
LOVED this class! I’d been looking for easy ways to cook healthier at home and this turned out to be the perfect solution. All the dishes I’ve tried so far have been really tasty, not too difficult to make (even for beginners) and use ingredients that are easy to find. The poached eggs with greens bowl is my new morning go to! So. Freaking. Good.

Stellar Quinoa Burger
It was my first time to have veggie burger in my life. It taste so good. If you are interesting in starting more healthy-ish vegetable oriented food style, this one is the good to start!!!

No-guilt deliciousness
I'm not a vegetarian but I'm always looking for healthier options and the stellar quinoa burger is not only delicious but it's also super easy to make; I'm obsessed! The coconut-date power bars are a great treat without the guilt, easy to make, and a great snack for when you're on the run. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

BEST ANSWER: Dear Leilia,
I believe that once you've registered for the class, it's available until you access it. I registered for it, but didn't have time to start it for a couple of weeks. The class is composed of several sessions, which you can watch all at once or come back to as time allows. I watched a few sessions on a rainy day, then came back to watch a couple more at a time until I'd completed the course.

Are these classes accessible for the deaf/hard of hearing? (Are the discussions captioned?)

BEST ANSWER: The lessons are not captioned, but there are printed recipes and the lessons go slowly enough that you could probably follow. For the hard of hearing (such as my husband), the volume is loud enough that when you set your computer to the loudest setting you should be able to hear. I have only watched part of one recipe and I am impressed with the quality and looking forward to making all of the recipes in healthy-isn.
Would this or any of the classes be suitable for a person under 10 years old?

BEST ANSWER: Probably not because of the amount of chopping going on, but with an adult around to yield the knife, I think it would be a fun way to spend an afternoon!

I signed up and cant acess my course. What do i do?

BEST ANSWER: Make sure that your device will allow pop ups while you access-this was suggested by the Sur La Table tech support when I experienced the same problem and it worked.
