Junior Chef Cooking Club: Winter Bake Shop

Hands-On
Ages 8 - 12
800-243-0852
In this month’s edition of our Junior Chefs Cooking Club, kids will learn to make delicious baked goods and sweet dishes that they’ll want to enjoy all year round. This baking-themed month kicks off with breakfast baking in week one and moves on to Valentine treats in week two, just in time for the big day! Week three means it’s time to focus on pies and tarts, and kids will even be able to torch their own lemon meringue tarts by hand. The month ends with the pièce de résistance, the French patisserie treats of week four! In this final class kids will learn how to use a classic French pate-a-choux recipe to make both sweet and savory foods that are impossible to resist!

Kids ages 8-12 are welcome to join this brand new cooking club. Classes last about two hours each and run one day per week for four weeks. Young chefs will enjoy generous samples of each delicious dish and take home a packet of recipes. Share your love of cooking and boost your child’s confidence in the kitchen with a culinary experience they’ll never forget.

Please click on the “Menu” tab above for more information about what the kids will be making each day.

Please Note: Each Club runs for four consecutive weeks. Sessions are on Tuesdays; dates are 2/6, 2/13, 2/20 and 2/27. Club is only available as a four-week series. No single week enrollments.
