Date Night: Better with Beer

Ages 18 and Older
Menu: Steamed Mussels with Lager and Thyme - Porter and Honey-Braised Short Ribs - Beer-Braised Brussels Sprouts with Bacon - Stout Ice Cream with Dark Chocolate Sauce

Class Description: Why cook with beer? Beer adds a rich, earthy flavor to sauces and braises that makes them taste like they've been simmering for hours. Beers with a sweet or nutty taste can add depth to desserts. Our instructor will walk you through the steps for braising tender short ribs, preparing succulent steamed mussels and the best brussels sprouts you've ever tasted. We'll show you how to amp up the flavor of your dishes with beer. Plus, you'll learn how to create an incredible ice cream featuring chocolate and rich dark stout. You heard us right, that’s beer for dessert

Please Note: In this class, we will discuss beer and beer pairing, but beer will not be served during class.
