Junior Chef Cooking Club for Teens

Ages 13 - 17
Teens ages 13-17 are welcome to join our cooking club! Classes last two hours each and run one day per week for four weeks. All the recipes are hands-on, and young chefs will enjoy a taste of each delicious dish. After class we will send each young chef home with a packet of recipes to recreate what they learned. Share your love of cooking and boost your teen's confidence in the kitchen with a culinary experience they’ll never forget.

Please Note: This Club runs for three consecutive weeks on Mondays 5/7/18, 5/14/18, 5/21/18, and on Wednesday 5/30/18. Club is only available as a four-week series. No single week enrollments.

What To Expect: Great cooking isn't about recipes—it's about techniques. In our classes young chefs will work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

  • Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above
  • Teens will work with other students in groups of 4
  • Hands-on classes are limited to 16 students
  • Teens will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class
  • Please have teens wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
  • Teens will enjoy a generous taste of every dish
  • Students receive a coupon good for 10% off in-store purchases the day of class

Sur La Table recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, meats, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy, please check with your local Cooking School before attending the class. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.
