Description

Now you can grill, sear, fry, sauté, steam and pressure cook—all with one revolutionary pan set! An excellent value, this comprehensive set includes an 8½-qt. pressure cooker, 4.2-qt. pressure skillet, pressure lid, glass lid, and steamer insert with tripod.

New easy-to-use pressure cooker set lets you prepare food in 1/3 the time. Whether you’re a novice or pressure-cooking pro, you’ll appreciate the fool-proof safety features that take away all the fear and guesswork. Includes improved 4-segment bayonet locking system with indicators to let you know when lid is closed correctly and ready to cook. If cooking level is exceeded, cooker automatically depressurizes through the control valve. Auto-lock feature prevents lid from being opened until pressure is completely released.

Unlike most pressure cookers, the Vitaquick doesn’t release steam while in use. This reduces the loss of liquid and vitamins and keeps your kitchen cooler. Plus, it’s silent under pressure—no hissing, rattling or spitting.

Unique CookStar all-stove base works with any stovetop heat source, including induction. Delivers superior heat diffusion and retention and is guaranteed to have no hot spots. Conical shape ensures easy stackability without wedging or scratching. Base is engineered to lie flat for life.

Cooker is dishwasher safe for easy cleanup, and there’s no need to remove main control valve—just rinse the lid under running water.

Exceptional quality, worth the investment
Get the large size set, it's perfection. Large size has both 8 & 4 qt pan set. I initially had the smaller 6 & 2 qt set, was nice but offered too small of a cooking surface. Even though I only cook for 2 people, I find the larger size MUCH more versatile, and the weight isn't any easier or harder to handle than the smaller size. I purchased based on top rating by Americas test kitchen. Fissler quality has exceeded my expectations.

I want a pressure cooker to expand our cooking options without increasing cooking time. Cook's Illustrated gave this brand a stellar review. I currently own a Fissler stock pot that I've had for 25 years and it still looks beautiful and new, not to mention it cooks evenly with no hot spots and cleans up easily.

Internet reviews cited these as the best pressure cooker and I am trying to learn.

America's Test Kitchen recommended the Fissler brand in the larger size, but I thought I would use the frying pan addition as well. The instructional video made using this product seem easy and safe.

I am trying to decide between getting the large Quattro set as recommended by reviewer or the regular set but there are no pan specific dimensions given. I am particular interested in the size of the fry pan. Does anyone know?
L. Diane Y on Sep 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The size of the fry pan is larger than a 10-inch fry pan - let's say around 11 inches. It is 4 inches deep. The bottom is so thick - nothing will ever get burned. Good to cook meats. I have both the large one and the fry pan.
