The best filters for my Chemex...sturdy, easily foldable, and convenient to use! And they're unbleached, which makes it even better.

Can I reheat the chemex vessel on a simmer plate on my stovetop?
A shopper on Aug 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: If its the all glass vessel I reheat my coffee all the time on my gas stove burner. my vessel has the glass handle, not the wood collar. I also sometimes have the burner on very very low when Im making the pour over coffee in the the glass vessel...it can take a little time for me to make a full pot, so it helps keep it hot during the process. but for me I truly believe this is the best tasting coffee process and well worth the effort.,I have really have been steering away from anything with heat and plastic.....I hope this helps...Lastly, I have reheated coffee on the stove in the vessel and have left too long where it boils...well, I have to remake but the good news is the vessels doesn't break with that high temp.
What can I use for a 3 cup Chemex?
Eileen S on Dec 17, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You have to use the FP-2 filter it is shaped specifically for the 3 cup model. I have the 6 and 8 cup models. The 6 cup is pretty small and uses full size filters which are easy to get. They make great coffee
this filter holds the coffee by itself, without need for something to keep it from sliding down the neck of the carafe?
A shopper on Sep 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes - the narrow point of the neck is too small for the coffee filter to go through, even when filled with coffee and water.
Can a chemex filter go into a compost pail?
A shopper on Oct 24, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes they can they are U bleached paper and will break down nicely. I use the Kone filter on a daily basis. You get a little sediment but it is a great full-bodied coffee. You just tap the filter to release the grounds and give it a rinse. I use the Chemex filters for guests as it is so pure looking.
