Sift and Serve-it's the best!
I have not had a new sifter in years and we used this one in a class I took at Sur La Table. It is the best-it is so fast that I use it even when the recipe doesn't call for it. It's a great price too!

The mechanical sifters seem to be problematic in design so this will not have those issues. Looks like good quality for sifting flour and powdered sugar.

Sifting dry ingredients together seems to create a much nicer consistency to my baked goods. I need the size to make the sifting process go a little faster than the hand held models.

Does it sift powered sugar?
A shopper on Nov 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it does. I have found this product to be very useful, cleans very nicely. I have even used it to sift almond flour, which is rather coarse.
Does it sift box cake mixes easily?
Jenny B on Apr 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't think it sifts anything easily. It is awkward to use for sifting because you have to keep tapping it and unless your bowl is way bigger than the sifter, the flour goes all over. It is, however, great for straining things like berry curd.
