BEST ANSWER: Yes, it is BPA free. It's silicone and not plastic. On top of that Sur La Table doesn't carry BPA products that I know of.

BEST ANSWER: If you have a sheet or tray or pan that heats up on your induction cooktop, there's no reason you couldn't put the mat in the pan. If the cooktop heats up on it's own (like a griddle) you could use it there. But it won't respond to the induction and heat up on its own...

BEST ANSWER: Hi, I actually bought the Silpat, cookie size, 12" x 17", fits a 12" x 18" pan: AE 430310-02. Good luck finding the size you need!
