Description

This top-of-the-line rice cooker pairs pressurized induction cooking with advanced fuzzy logic technology to cook perfect rice every time. Simply fill with your favorite rice and select the appropriate setting—white (regular, softer or harder), umami, mixed, sushi/sweet, porridge, brown, GABA brown, steam-reduce, scorch, rinse-free and quick cooking.

Pressure cooking helps convert alpha starches into beta starches, resulting in rice that’s softer and easier to digest. Inner cooking pan features a platinum-infused nonstick interior that won’t impart flavors to cooking rice and helps emphasize the natural flavors of each grain.

Features Hide

  • Advanced fuzzy logic technology perfectly cooks a wide range of rice varieties

Zojirushi is the top brand in rice makers. I've always wanted this product.
Matthew D W on Mar 31, 2016
I wanted a rice cooker that had high quality functionality + beautiful design and was not made in China. It doesn't get better than "Made in Japan"â??the search was worth it! I'm also moving to a more vegan lifestyle and like all the settings, especially the faster cooking times. I'm eager to see what I can do with the scorch option. This is a work of art. It will be lovely on my counter top.

Tired of replacing cheap rice cookers. Figured we'd try a Japanese brand with good reviews. First time buying a pressurized cooker.

what's the difference between this rice cooker to the other models. the that's a little bit less?
Camille A on Sep 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This is the only model we carry that uses induction heating.
How fast does it cook white rice?
A shopper on Jan 24, 2018
BEST ANSWER: White rice takes a little less than an hour. Brown rice about 82 minutes. But in both cases you can set it and walk away and the rice is perfect. And it will keep the rice warm after it’s done.
I see this rice cooker is also described as a pressure cooker. Can I use it to prepare dried beans, the same as a pressure cooker?
A shopper on Jul 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I've only cooked rice in this. I probably wouldn't recommend it bec anything else might clog up the filters and vent in this machine. I've heard older version of zojirushi pressure cooker can cook variety of goods but not this new model.
What kind of materials the cook pot? Is it Teflon courting on it?
Tomi A on Feb 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The cooking pot does have a nonstick coating.
