Good, but....
I was in the market for a new wok, since the old one was 4 years old and the non-stick was wearing off. I also preferred nonstick so I wouldn't need to cook with too much oil. This was smaller than my previous wok, but it seemed to be good so I decided to buy it.
The construction is pretty good - big sturdy handle (a bit on the heavy side), a good body size of the wok itself. However, when I started using it, I began experiencing some issues...
(1) I have a ceramic cook top and you need to hold this as you cook; it will move around.
(2) I don't use anything other an wooden utensils with this, but I've noticed pretty bad scratches on the bottom. As a note, I also don't use it with anything over medium-high heat, just in case. I don't know what's causing the scratches when all that's been cooked in it is fried rice and vegetarian oyster omelettes. (We're vegetarian.)
(3) It's not quite non-stick; both my husband and I [hubby also cooks and he uses this more because he's better at Asian food] noticed that we still need to use a bit more oil to prevent the food from sticking and because of the scratches that somehow appeared, it's not helping.
(4) It's still not as big as we'd like, but I knew what I was buying so this aspect didn't affect my rating.
All in all, it's not bad, but it's far from the best. Or maybe the one we got was a dud? Either way, I wanted to love this! Now, I just use it when making things like fried rice. In short, it's not my go-to pan. I'm just worried that more cooking will render it useless with all the scratches it seems to be getting...

Wok
Great Wok for the small price that you pay. This pan I have used few times now and don't know how I lived with out it. Wok is very easy to clean and seems to be very well built as far the handles holding up.

Doesn't hold up over time
Initial purchase satisfaction was great.
~2 years later:
Over time the non-stick coating has worn away, even with using wooden or silicone coated utensils. I also always used a wash rag to scrub the food bits out because I'm particular about the condition of my cookware.
All of our other pots and pans have retained their non-stick coating, where as this one has not. We use the other cookware nearly every single day, and use this one maybe once a month.
As a side note the handles are riveted in place and have held up over time.
I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere if you are looking for a quality non-stick wok. I had expected a better quality product from Sur La Table.
PS I created an account to leave a review because I honestly am dissatisfied and want to

Perfect upgrade!
I had the carbon steel version of this for a year. Loved it, but cleaning was a pain. Bought this a month ago and can't believe I tried to stray from the nonstick pack. Food tastes the same to us but cleanup uses about half a cup of water and a sponge, instead of a lot of very hot water and vigorous scrubbing. The size is perfect, and I couldn't be happier.

Sticky and the bottom is not really flat.
I am upset to buy this wok. Just one time I used for stir fry, the wok was sticky and after I washed it, the residue from the food was hard to clean. I have the flat cook top and when I used the wok, the wok is not flat at all, a bit round.

Love it
Works wonderfully for many recipes, not simply "stir fry". I use it to wilt kale, as well as hot-mixing ingredients.

Disappointed
Bought this under the pretension that this would be non-stick. It was far from it.
I was cooking Korean stir-fry and the meat stuck to the bottom to the point it burned. I couldn't even use steel wool to remove the burnt remnants and ended up throwing the entire wok away.
I don't recommend.

Little white dots
Got this nonstick wok in December 2016. After the first use, I noticed a bunch of little white dots on the bottle. Turns out the nonstick surface flaked off. It's very disappointing. I've been meaning to take the wok back but Kirkland is not easy to get to, so I guess it's money wasted and lesson learned.

We just bought this wok about 6 weeks ago and my husband has used it a handful of times for stir-frys. We have only used our Oxo Stainless & Nylon tongs with it and after tonights clean up we noticed there were two scratches on the bottom. Is it supposed to scratch this easily?? Should we be using something else utensil wise? Im baffled that its somehow scratched with nothing but the tongs ever touching it...
BEST ANSWER: I didn't even use stainless, and its happened to mine. I only used silicon or wood, I am thinking it had more to do with the way I cleaned it. I used the blue scrubber, which is suppose to be for pots and pans, and I still got scratches.

I purchased the Sur La Table nonstick wok and have used it a few times already. We've used sesame oil but on one occasion the food had a burned smell and we've had several instances of food sticking to the wok. What type of oil should we be using and when do you apply it? I noticed the ad said ro oil the wok and then heat it.
BEST ANSWER: HI, I always pair a good olive oil with sesame oil and because it is nonstick I add it to a cold pan.
