Panetonne and Pandoro Bakes Nicely.
When I would purchase baked Panetonne or Pandoro, this is the ""Baking Paper"" used every Time. I like that they are oven proof to 390 degrees. Recycable in Our Area too.I can use for Breads that do not ""fit"" a regular ""Pan"".I can use these and save money for a Special item I may not use enough to validate cost.Yet,with Sur La Table,Always Find Great Prices and Items We Need or have not been able to locate anywhere else

Awesome for Panettone
These paper molds give an authentic touch to any panettone. Great price too. My only gripe is that I wish they came with cellophane bags to wrap them as gifts. Or that Sur La Table offered bags to fit them in. Otherwise they worked great and I'm happy.

Were are these made? It would be very helpful if that information was included on all of your products. That is very important to me, especially where food related items are concerned.

Just want to make sure - you can bake directly in these liners - no pan needed. Is that correct?
BEST ANSWER: Hi--
Short answer: yes, no problem.
Longer answer: I've used these to bake panettone for gifts for the past two holidays and, yes, you can put them on a cookie sheet and place the bread dough directly into them for the final rise and bake. There are perforations in the paper that allow steam to escape, so the loaves rise beautifully and bake evenly. I make sure that there's at least 1 1/2 " between molds to allow for even air circulation, and you might need to watch the baking bread a little more closely than usual to make sure it's not getting too brown (I shaved 5 minutes or so from the recommended bake time).
THESE ARE REALLY GREAT PRODUCTS: just wrap the cooled loaf in food-safe cellophane with a rafia tie for an easy festive presentation.
Good luck.

I am baking Ukrainian Easter bread in the molds, do you have the spray the molds before adding the batter? Once baked, do you simply cool on a cooling rack?
BEST ANSWER: When I used them to make Panettone, I sprayed them. I think whenever in doubt, spray them. Yes, you could cool them on a cooling rack but be aware that the imprint from the cooling rack may imprint the bread.

How many papers come in an order and what are the measurements?
BEST ANSWER: Sold individually I believe, and come in several sizes, which you specify when ordering. I get the 5.25 inch diameter, which holds about 1 pound of dough.
