Beautiful and Pro quality all the way
This 8-in. Shun Classic Western Chef's Knife is a beauty and a pleasure to use. It is superbly made with the western style chef's knife blade that I prefer and the Japanese-style handle which I also prefer. The blade is sharpened to perfection. The knife overall is heavier than I expected based on similar knives I have from other manufacturers. I take this as an indicator of its professional quality and strength to get even tough jobs done. It's a dream come true.

Very Very Sharp Chef Knife
Love the design of this knife. Fits perfectly in my hand great handle and cuts with ease. It is incredibly sharp I mean really sharp be careful who you let use this knife. Makes all food prep a breeze. I chose this one to cut melons every day. Thank You Chef Tim

My Favorite Knife
After a knife skills class at the Culinary Institute in SF, I decided that at 62 I deserved a really good knife ~ a very tough decision with all the choices - but I LOVE it!!

Gift for my brother
My brother loves it. Says it cuts tomatoes like a hot knife thru butter, no taring or crushing. Very sharp!
