Let me start by saying I own 3 of the 4 sizes available & they are wonderful. I'm more of a nonstick cookware type of girl, but I've never owned better saucepans in my life. Water boils in what seems like the blink of an eye & clean up is remarkably simple. I love not having rivets on my pan or lid because it ensures you can get it thoroughly clean. Furthermore, the lids are super tight fitting. Did you know you can steam in these with practically no water? It's true; it's a little trick I learned from a Zwilling Rep. Simply rinse your fresh veggies & don't drain them. Throw them in your sauce pan dripping wet & put the lid on, give it a few minutes & voila! I even did it once by soaking my broccoli in chicken broth & it turned out great.
Now all that being said...They. Are. So. HEAVY. Okay okay, I know that's not necessarily a bad thing, but at 5'4" & 130lbs, I have to use both hands on the larger 2 pans & that can be cumbersome without a helper handle.
All in all I love my saucepans...I just wish I could, you know, lift them...

excellent saucepan
I really like the heft of the pan. It cooks very well on lower temps and doesn't stick or burn if used correctly. I am replacing older 3-ply, copper insert pans. The extra two-ply layers make cooking easier without worrying about burning.

It is 33% faster than the "A" Brand
I just got a couple of these pans. I cook on an Induction Cooktop.
Using same size diameter pan and equal amounts of tap water, the Atlantis boiled water on the high setting 33% faster than the "A" Brand saucepan, which is now being shined up for a new owner.
You need less power to cook at the same temps. I am glad we decided on this kitchen upgrade.
Last pans you will ever buy, why not go first class for your lifetime.

What is the difference between the Silver 7 and the Atlantis lines?
Does the price include the lid, + and does the lid fit the other style (round bottom) saucepan?
BEST ANSWER: question 1: Yes, the price does include the lid. question 2: If you are referring to the saucier (round bottom), the lid that came with my saucier didn't fit very well. It fit the copper bottom sauce pan just fine, but was not a tight, secure fit for the saucier. I was told that the reason for that is that the purpose of the saucier is to let the steam escape, thus reducing (concentrating) the sauce.

My son BURNT popcorn on this sauce pan. I've tried soaking, boiling, scrubbing. Vinegar, baking soda, scouring powder. Nothing worked. Other than tossing out an expensive pan, any suggestions? Before this, I've never had a problem with anything sticking. Kept them seasoned as recommend. I have these in every size & love them all.
BEST ANSWER: Sprinkle baking powder in the pan so you have a thick layer, then pour vinegar over the baking soda, have the pot over the sink because the vinegar will make the baking soda foam up. You can keep adding vinegar to the pot once the foaming of the mixture calms down. You can also put the pot on the stovetop and gently boil, this will remove the burnt residue, stay close to the stove so you can remove the pot, the baking soda vinegar mixture will boil over. Don't be in a hurry, it could take an hour, but you won't have to throw your pan away. I would hesitate to use and SOS pad, it will scratch the beautiful finish. Whenever I burn something by accident I use this method...ALWAYS works.
